A home of a mussels catcher

A story behind: Monday´s afternoon started with dark cloud cover. I drove to Murtosa village and left my car where the road ended. After weeks and weeks of rain the whole delta of Vouga river was pretty much flooded. I wandered along the canals of the braided delta quite some time looking for a nice spot. The fishermen were coming back from the sea. I waited. They say that hope is a mother of fools. Maybe it´s true but that day the things worked for me very well. I spotted a wooden shag that belonged to one of the mussels catchers. The wind stopped blowing allowing clear mirror-like reflections in the water.

Statyczne i dramatyczne.

  4. Perfect touches of green, blue, honey-yellow, white and red even play nicely with overall brown colour of this timber shed. Very picteresque. Are you sure, the owner of that shed was a mussels catcher only? Funny thing is, that we just saw a thriller yesterday, called "The Hide", where the birdwatcher was hiding in a shed like this to peep at rare waterbirds. It looked more like the shed mirrored in the water pane. A bit of advice for you though... keep reasonable distance from these sheds, you never know who's hiding in it ;)

  5. @Wojciech i @delie - podziękowania za wizytę i mile słowa.

@Piotr: Now you really made me feel scared ! Portugal and its coastal regions are famous for being one of the well established drug routes to Europe. That shed could perfectly be one of these drug safe houses. :))
